Join the Studio!

Looking to join my private studio? My online studio is limited to a total of 5 advanced high school and college-aged students. For students in the St Louis area, I offer 3 additional in-person slots in my studio.

 

Enrollment periods occur beginning on August 1 for students wishing to work together for the year. An additional enrollment period may occur in December for students wishing to work together for only the Spring semester should there be any open slots.

What do you get as a member of the studio?

 - 14 1-hour Private Lessons per semester (Fall and Spring)

 - A discounted weekly lesson rate

 - 1x monthly open studio class

Students of mine excel in their studies placing with top honors in Carnegie Hall's National Youth Orchestra program, All State programs, and receive competitive scholarship offers to top conservatories such as New England Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music, and Columbus State University.

I've been lucky enough to teach at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, been in residence at Indiana University, worked with students in masterclasses across the United States and throughout Asia in masterclasses and seminars, and currently serve on the faculties of the Southeast Trombone Symposium and the Southwest Trombone Conference, the latter of which I am a co-founder.​

You will be asked to submit a paragraph or two about yourself and your goals, and also a short video of your playing. Due to my summer schedule, I am unable to offer trial lessons at this time.
