"Simplicity is the final achievement" - F. Chopin

Study with me!

Teaching trombone and music is about so much more than just the notes and instrument to me. It's about teaching teamwork, history, life skills and lessons, and how to be the best version of yourself through your voice - the trombone.

No student is entirely alike and that's why I place an emphasis on the Art of the Student in my teaching. Having a fully individual approach to working with each student and providing my best to help them become the best they can be and accomplish their goals through a methodical approach is my goal with every student. I firmly believe each and every student has their own voice and something to say through music. Therefore, it is my job as a teacher to not just help a student learn their instrument better, but to help guide each student on their own path and bring out who they are as musicians. and human beings.

I maintain a private studio and teach high school clinics in Jacksonville, Florida, and have presented masterclasses and recitals across the United States including a residency at the University of Florida and a Guest Artist appearance for Florida State University's Trombone Day in 2019. I also am a founding member of the Santa Fe Trombone Summit - a multi-day trombone seminar located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My students have went on to study with top Professors at the college level including Bradley Palmer at Columbus State University and Demondrae Thurman at Samford University.
